1/72 HOBBYMASTER (HA6502) MIKOYAN MIG29A FULCRUM (4120) " 100th ANNIVERSARY of the POLISH AIR FORCE " 41-ELT MALBORK, POLAND (LIMITED EDITION of ONLY XXX) In 1989-1990 the Polish Air Force began to receive 12 Soviet Mig-29s. Then in 1996 the Czech Republic exchanged it's 10 Mig-29s for 11 PZL W-3 Sokol helicopters. Later in 2003-2004 the Polish Air Force began to receive 22 former Deutche Bundes Luftwaffe Mig-29As. Among them was 29+14 that is now stationed at the 22nd Tactical Aviation Base and assigned to the 41st Tactical Squadron with serial 4120. In 2018 4120 was painted to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Polish Air Force. On top of the fuselage is a portrait of Józef Piłsudski while on the vertical stabilizers portraits of Stefan Bastyr and Janusz de Beaurain, the first to perform a Polish combat flight together.
