Air Canada's "Fly the Flag" livery was a special Olympic-themed design to a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (C-FVLQ) in 2021 to celebrate its role as the official airline of Team Canada for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.The livery featured "Go, Canada, Go!"in gold lettering and "Fly the Flag" (or "Haut Le Drapeau" in French) in bold black and gold lettering on either side of the aircraft.
The special livery was part of Air Canada's broader campaign to support Team Canada and engage Canadian fans during the Games.The airline also launched a new brand spot called "Rise Higher" and encouraged Canadians to share how they #FlytheFlag/#HautLeDrapeau on social media.Additionally, Air Canada provided special care kits and Aeroplan benefits for athletes and offered opportunities for fans to interact with them.
Air Canada has been the Official Airline of the Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Teams since 1988 and 2007, respectively, and this partnership continues for the next four Olympic and Paralympic Games.The "Fly the Flag" livery was a visible symbol of this commitment and the airline's support for Team Canada.
