1/144 HOBBYMASTER (HA9002) JUNKERS JU52-3M (D-ALYL) LUFTHANSA (2nd-LIVERY THIRD-REICH) * XI OLYMIADE 1936 BERLIN * 1935-1939 (LIMITED EDITION of ONLY 853) D-ALYL was a Ju-52/3M ge c/n5180 named “Hans Loeb” delivered to Lufthansa in 1935.The XI Olympiad Games were held in Berlin in 1936, so prior to this event, the aircraftwas painted with the Olympic rings. In 1937 the aircraft was operated by OELAG anAustrian airline and registered as OE-LAR “Linke Crawford”. In January 1939 the aircraftreturned to Lufthansa and again became D-ALYL “Hans Loeb”. In August 1939 theaircraft was taken over by the Luftwaffe as NG+VY and later changed to 17+RV.
