1/72 CORGI (AA32605) AVRO LANCASTER Mk-X (FM213 - VR-A) - Now C-GVRA with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum - Officer Andrew Mynarski VC - 419 Moose Sqdn - R.C.A.F. (LIMITED EDITION #0407 of ONLY 2400) ** This the first model of the Mynarski Lanc commissioned by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and is a representation of the museum's rebuilt flying example using the Victory Aircraft FM213 airframe ** ** Since it had the reinforced upper turret conversion prior to it's service with the post-war R.C.A.F. Coastal Command (and had the turret removed) the turret is in a different position compared to war-time KB726 ** ** This, along with some minor differences, makes this model unrepresentative of the Avro Lancaster Mk-X in which Pilot Officer Andrew Mynarski performed the act which precipitated the awarding of the VC ** ** This being said, the model is an accurate representation of FM213 now being flown by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum bearing the civil registration C-GVRA **
